January 12, 2024
Now that 2023 is over, I want to share my favorite restaurants in the Fort Worth area! Not only do I love selling houses, but I also love eating good food. đ
BEST IN TAKEOUT:Â ZAAPâs Thai Street Eats
Zaapâs just HAD to win this one. Iâm pretty sure there was a time when Kevin and I ordered takeout from here at least once per week for several months. You really canât go wrong with anything on their menu, but my favorite is the CURRY FRIED RICE. It has little crispy shallots on top, and the curry spice adds such a fun and unique flavor profile for fried rice. We literally drive from Aledo anytime we want Thai because nothing else will do!
BEST IN MID-TIER DINING:Â MARIAâS
I first tried Mariaâs on a girls night, and let me just say: itâs a great girls night spot! Their skinny margaritas donât taste skinny at all (and you really donât need more than one đ). I made mine spicy, which is always a good choice when it comes to margaritas. I ordered their Tres Colores Enchiladas, which they are known for, and for good reason. I donât usually go for mole, but the mole enchilada was great. And the green one was also good. My favorite was the creamy one! The ambiance can be a little loud at times, but the floral and intentional decorations make the vibe fun and upbeat. Highly recommend.
BEST IN FANCY:Â QUINCE
Okay, we now that we have two kids, we donât get to try out as many fancy restaurants. The only one new we visited this year was Quince, but it did not disappoint! It replaced Bartaco (which Kevin and I LOVED), and it is much more upscale than its predecessor. I loved the open patio to the river. We ate there for my birthday in May, and I was able to actually eat sushi! As a non-seafood-lover, I have always wanted to try a non-seafood-sushi, and Quince had a beef tenderloin option! SO that was super fun for me. Everything on the menu had a fun spin to it, so if you havenât given it a taste, I recommend trying it out. Itâs got a good vibe and good tastes. Win, WIN.
What categories do you want me to add next year? And are there any restaurants you think I should try in 2024? We donât get out a ton, but if you tell me I need to go out and eat more, I’m not going to argue with ya. đ
Where we live greatly impacts our everyday. Every person in DFW should love where they live so that they can live a full, vibrant life. This is the vision behind my real estate business.
I accomplish this through my mission to guide and empower homebuyers and sellers in their real estate decisions so they can confidently take on the next chapter of their lives. By bringing authenticity and trust into transactions, I create relationships that continue beyond the closing table.
